ADM Automaten B.V., producer of window automats
ADM produces and supplies the latest automats with individual product windows, a typically Dutch product. Although this type of vending machine was used in other countries for completely different purposes, it became very popular in its current form in the Netherlands, where someone came up with the idea of a vending machine for individual hot snacks and elaborated it. ADM was one of the companies at the cradle of this successful development.
Continuous innovation
Around 1990, ADM started the development and production of an automat for warm snacks that was revolutionary at the time. Innovations at ADM were predominantly aimed at improving existing heating systems, whereby hygiene was a prime condition. This resulted in significantly improved heat distribution as well as in an appliance that meets the strictest demands. The standard automat now has stainless steel (SST) sections with removable compartments that can be cleaned in a dishwasher.Another feature of all SST automats that have hatches for individual snacks is that they have extra thick 8mm scratchproof safety glass windows. Combined with their sturdy hatches and solid hinges this ensures that ADM vending machines are almost impervious to vandalism – part of the reason for their long life.
An increasing number of foreign and multinational companies are embracing the concept and go for the quality that ADM offers them. This is one of the reasons why the R&D department at ADM is constantly working on perfecting the machines further and adjusting them to specific applications that national and international customers have in mind.
